Greg Kuzmak joined The Rockefeller Foundation in May 2020 and serves as the Director, Digital Health with the Health Initiative. In his role, Greg stewards a portfolio investment across the Precision Public Health Initiative and the Global Vaccination Initiative to support proliferation and utilization of digital technologies to improve health service delivery, and ultimately health outcomes.
Prior to this role, he supported the South African Ministry of Health in implementation of its digital health strategy, specifically around patient-centric health information systems, advanced analytics to inform program management, and machine learning methodologies. In addition, with The Commonwealth Fund, Greg managed a series of collaborations that enabled transfer of health system models from abroad to the U.S. context. As a consultant, Greg has worked with the Clinton Health Access Initiative, Johnson & Johnson Global Public Health, and ICAP at Columbia University to develop and implement monitoring & evaluation strategies and health workforce models that improve population health outcomes. In South America and Sub-Saharan Africa, Greg has managed and facilitated multi-million-dollar U.S. government-funded health and economic development programs that sought to improve livelihoods and reduce mortality.
Greg holds an M.P.H. from Columbia University’s Mailman School of Public Health where he focused on health policy, digital health, and analytics.
